MOZART is a global atmospheric
chemistry climate model. It is built on the CCM framework and uses
the CCM for many of its climatological inputs. Version 1 of the model
is composed of 56 chemical species.
Lightning
and Ozone Production
Lightning emissions produce NOx which is used in the production of
Ozone. The MOZART global atmospheric chemistry climate model, developed
at NCAR, is used here to investigate this relationship.
